That's rad, you always drop these 'most interesting man My son and I built this Lego table a couple years ago, I think it turned out pretty good for what it is. It's quick and easy and nothing warps or acts squirrelly. I do really like building simple modernist(ish) and functional furniture out of plywood. I do a lot of rough/rustic stuff around the farm and I've been having to do a lot of cabinetry type stuff with casting patterns so I'm getting better at that but it's probably not something I'll have time to really take up as a hobby until I have a little more free time. Start small with tools (highly suggest investing in basic hand tools first) and projects, and you can't go wrong. But just like mopeds, expensive tools/parts won't stop you from experiencing the same growing pains as cheap ones. My biggest advice to someone who wants to woodwork is that yes, high quality tools matter. > I'm not really good at working with wood at all, especially fine wood > hunting but I love butchering, I like gardening but I love cooking and > something from nature into regular shapes and useful objects. Yeah I dunno what the deep satisfaction that comes from turning
